Italy is my second home, I am there at least three times a year. I have my favorite bars, shops and places and really appreciate every re-visit and opportunity to experience the taste, the view etc.. With every visit I am a different person, with different mood, new thoughts and understanding. Here is the list of the special Venice places and how to reach them.
Teatro La Fenice
As a huge fan of theatre, I had to put this place into my list. It is possible to visit the theatre for a show or do the tour inside. There is an exhibition about the history of theatre, and using the application on your mobile, you can have all the information in English. However the core attraction is the Theatre Hall. The main room is breathtaking - my first time I spent there 40 minutes just looking at the celling. I have seen many bloggers and photographers who entered this place only to take some photos! The place may fit 1000 visitors, some of them in beautiful theatre boxes - if you are patient enough, you can enter one of them to take some pictures!
The theatre is close to Piazza San Marco, and I have no idea why it is not present in every single guide related to Venice!
Ex Cinema Teatro Italia
What about groceries? In Venice it has to be chic! The palace from 1915 that used to be a theatre, became a grocery shop. It is an unique view to watch beautiful fresco between Tide and milk! Worth to be!
Mysterious Bar
Just in front of the entrance of theatre-grocery shop, there is a bar that I couldn't spot on Google Maps. However I must admit that they have the most delicious croissants I have ever tried. Not to forget the place, I have a pin.
